Multi Break Away Protection
The break away feature works in all knife positions. Want to lock the knife into a vertical or horizontal position, use the break away lock by placing a pin through the lock.
Break Away Tensioner Adjustment
Vary the force required for the break away to your specific requirements. Use an allen key to increase or decrease the break away force needed.

The Sabre is heavy and can be awkward for one person to mount particularly if it is mounted to the bracket prior to mounting on the bucket. Recommend mounting the bracket first then attach the blade. It takes a little time attaching everything to the bucket. The bracket is attached to the bucket with two bolts that need constant tightening. Vibration from the Sabre causes the bracket to shift and loosen. Be watchful. I recommend getting hyd quick disconnects on each end of the hoses so that the hoses can be removed when adding or removing the Sabre. Helps lighten the load as well getting the hoses out of the way when carrying the Sabre.
I have a Kubota MX5400. I use 2nd gear slow so I can run the rpm’s up while moving at a somewhat steady pace. Light branches are no problem but when you get into the 3/4 to 1” size the cut is not so easy and requires stopping, backing and re-attacking to get the cut. Still working with the Sabre to find the sweet spot for speed and cut. Consider the density of the foliage you plan to use this on before buying. 1” Autumn Olive branches are a challenge for the Sabre. Larger tractors might have an easier go at it.
Overall: it’s a well built product that could use some upgrades (beef up how the bracket mounts to the bucket and design a quick attach for the blade mounting to the bracket instead of 2 bolts). Constantly getting out of the cab to retighten the mounting bolts can be a pain.
